How do I download the app?

Open the following link on your mobile device to download the app:

Note - If you can’t see the app in the Google Play store you might be using an unsupported device. We only support devices running Android version 10 or later.

Where do I get my login details from?

Login with the same username and password associated with your Home Hub account.


There’s no need to create a new account. If you’ve never logged into Home Hub before, get in touch via call, SMS or email and one of our friendly Loan Experts will help set up your login.

How do I reset my password?

You can trigger a password reset in the app or browser by clicking “Forgot Password”.


You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you don’t receive an email after a few minutes, get in touch with us.

Does your app work on tablets and iPads?

Our app is officially designed for smartphones. It may be possible to install it on your tablet or iPad, but the experience may not be optimised.


We recommend you use it on your smartphone.

Which devices does your app work on?

iOS

We support any iPhone device running the current major iOS version and the major version before that. Current major version means a version which is generally available.


If a version is in Alpha or Beta testing, we do not officially support that version. At the time of writing officially supported versions are 15 and 16.
Android

For Android OS we support all Android phone devices running the current major OS version or the major version 2 prior to that. Current major version means a version which is generally available.


If a version is in Alpha or Beta testing, we do not officially support that version. At the time of writing officially supported versions are 13, 12 and 11.

How does my co-borrower log into the app?

Your co-borrower can have their own unique login details to sign-in to the application. If they have already used Home Hub these will be the same details.


If they’ve never logged into Home Hub before get in touch via call, SMS or email and one of our friendly Loan Experts will help set up their login.

How do I know the app is secure?

Your account is secured with 2FA. You need to know your email address, password and enter the correct one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS to your mobile when you login.


For convenience you may choose to use biometrics (face or fingerprint recognition) for subsequent logins. The app will lock after 10 minutes of inactivity so even if someone else has your phone they won’t be able to get back into the app unless they can authenticate with biometrics.


For your security, we routinely run penetration tests against our app to proactively find and fix any potential security flaws before we release a new version.

How do instant payments work?

We offer instant payments out from your Athena accounts to eligible non-Athena accounts. This means any eligible payment eligible will be processed instantly provided the institution you are transferring to is setup to receive instant payments as well and there are no planned or unplanned outages which can happen from time to time.


Currently payments into your Athena account run through normal processing times and can take 1 – 2 business days to clear.

Can I link a debit card to my Athena account for everyday purchases or ATM withdrawals?

We do not currently offer a debit card linked to your Athena account.

Can I setup direct debits in and out of my Athena accounts?

You can setup direct debits from external accounts for your loan repayments. Many customers have their repayments setup like this. Alternatively, you can have your salary deposited straight into your Athena account so you can use every cent to save on interest.


We currently do not support direct debits out from your Athena account but we will soon be introducing scheduled payments to help you stay on top of those bills.
